Peter Robinson at The Dowse

On Saturday afternoon Peter Robinson’s exhibition Tribe Subtribe opened at The Dowse – I know because my Twitter feed became full of pictures.

Lucky for me The Dowse is super close to where I work so I headed over at lunchtime on Monday to see the show with my friend Courtney (who works there).

So. Much. Fun.

The room is filled with little felt circles in yellow, red, orange, brown and black. You use them to create rods, which is really therapeutic. I did mine (below) based on touch rather than sight.

The gallery is slowly filling with rods and emptying of felt pieces. There’s still heaps left though so if you’re in the area head along and have a go.

Wow. It reminds me so much of Capital E 20 years ago!
