A home day today – one where I finally accept summer is over.
- Put the fire on/fill the wood baskets
- Clean out the shoe basket and put all the roman sandals in storage
- Tidy up the coat hooks at the back door and take out all the summer stuff
- Move the growing collection of hats and scarves in the car to the coat rack
- Put away all my cotton dresses
- Let the Telecom man in who is coming to fix our patchy internet
- Do a phone interview with That’s Life! magazine
- Put together a present for a friend who has had a baby
- Go to the Post Office
- Check out the new shop in town
- Pick some lemons
- Go for a walk
- Do some sewing for myself – I haven’t sewn for myself in four months

Sounds a productive day, but not too hectic. How did you get onto the Thats Life mag…when do we look out for that on the shelves, it is a little weekly one isn’t it? And what is the new local shop..good to hear the town is filling up!
That’s Life sent me an email asking for an interview just out of the blue. I’ll try and remember to let you know when it’s out. The new shop is a general store with hardware and gardening stuff I think.
That’s Life!? Big time!
