Today Tom and I celebrate 11 years of wedded bliss. Coincidentally this is also the day that Tom decided he’d make us crumpets and poached eggs for lunch; in the theme of celebration we ate under the walnut tree and used the fancy tablecloth*.
We also had a little jam jar of homegrown flowers and weighted the tablecloth down with part of my crocheted stone collection. Some people would think there was no use for a crocheted stone and those people would be wrong.
The crumpets were out of this world – they tasted just like crumpets but were super fresh and fluffy and delicious. Here’s the proof…
