Friday list: 9 March 2012

The first words I said today were ‘oh f*ck’ – here’s what else I did:

  • Overslept because the volume on my alarm clock got turned way down low
  • Was late to pick up Mum at the airport
  • Breakfast at Floriditas (always the first stop when Mum visits Wellington)
  • Saw My week with Marilyn
  • Shopping
  • Got a tweet to ask me where the Friday list was
  • High tea at Martha’s Pantry
  • Grocery shopping at Moore Wilsons
  • More shopping
  • Home to cook up a Mexican fiesta

And here’s some photos…

That is one busy Friday, lady. Mine went like this – wake up, call in sick to work, sleep, shower, eat pancakes, read Emma, watch a movie, watch another movie, go on internet.

🙂 One day, we’ll bump into each other in Floriditas. I know it. Its my favourite place in Wellington.

  2. Wah! I want your day, apart from the beginning it looks awesome!

  3. One week! It’s next weekend.

  4. I can’t WAIT! *’cited*

Ohh where are those first few photos please, style !!

Hi Deb – the first one is of the Wellington Harbour then the next two are in the new part of the Embassy Theatre. If you haven’t been there in a while then the lower floor ticket desk is gone and that amazing tunnel is in it’s place. The flowers/tins are at the shop Small Acorns and the last two photos are from Martha’s Pantry High Tea.

Thank you. I thought the floor was the Embassy but had no Idea where the tunnel was … WOW …. Deluxe is an old favourite from before having kids. Going to have to make a special trip and to check out the Embassy while imbibeing !!

That tunnel will blow you away – it’s so retro but so grand. And the area with the chairs looks like somewhere that you could spend an entire afternoon sipping cocktails.
