Announcing Swapsies

When I was at Art School swapping work with other students and lecturers was a highlight. Probably not as much of a highlight at the time as the free box, but one with longevity.

By swapping my own work I now own a James Robinson etching, a Jo Ogier print and a Peter Cleverley drawing amongst others.

Now the good people at Dustys & Lulu have started their own swap-brigade for New Zealand artists, designers and makers, which they’re operating from their website.  It’s brand new so it’s a great time to get onboard – they’ve already swapped one of their prints and right now this super-cool teatowel is up for grabs.

They explain how it works here.

I think swapping things and getting presents for yourself is a pretty nice way to reward yourself for being a great maker.
