The date for the wedding is July 19th 1939, this is the exact day that Tom’s grandparents got married in All Saints Church, Palmerston North. They were both 24, and certainly looked alot younger than that couple. Hope you all have a great celebration this weekend, try to keep warm!
how old do you think the people in the photo are that are getting married?
I didn’t think about it at the time but they look a lot older than I’d expect for a 1930s wedding – maybe mid to late 30s?

Wow what a strange coincidence. Warm so far – apart from a short stint in the rain replanting things that one of the brothers ran over.
