This past weekend I went to Timaru to visit Dad and Grandma. You think you remember from last time how small the plane that flies there is but you don’t; there’s one row each side and the aisle must only be 40cm wide at most.
The highlight of the visit for me was our drive to Tekapo where we ate lunch on top of Mount John and I took these photos. It was warm and clear with 360 degree views – it would have been a pretty hard task to take a bad photo.
While I was up the mountain I wondered if I could take inspiration from the colour scheme for a new line of Emma Makes bags. I quickly realised that if I did that I’d be dressing people in khaki and chambray – the traditional uniform of American tourists. So no, that won’t be happening.
